How to discern between the people's best interest and the people's Civil Purpose: What is a fooling of the people by way of manufacturing their consent versus what is a true movement of the people. In the past, the people's Civil Purpose began to advance with such figures as Confucius and Socrates. While they dared to question the kingship by pointing out technicalities, they still functioned submissively under their authority behaving submissive to its rule.
The figure of Socrates was a paradox. First off, we know that he was an incredibly brave man for, because of it, his life was once spared by the bravest of the brave with they being the Spartans. So, Socrates wasn't afraid to think. Problem is, Socrates realized he was living as a man among boys: His ideas could get him killed.
In his dialogue "Meno," Plato writes of Socrates demonstrating his courage by daring to demonstrate how the mind of a slave child could learn something by itself by "recollection" if only he or she were served (taught) by a mid-wife philosopher (a teacher).
So, ethics isn't a product of a king, of a royal family, or of those who support them by propping them up.
No!
Ethics is a product of the most worthless having been born out from the nameless and the faceless making up the multitude. Indeed, there has always been a subversive movement which has never been accepted by those in power to the extent that they would deem it official. The burden of this ethics has always been to improve the plight of lessor ones. This long standing movement has always moved under the radar of the greater ones. It has managed to go unnoticed by always remaining under authority by behaving submissive to it. However, to behave submissive is not the same as behaving obedient. In other words, we should weed out all acts of violence. In this way, evil is not empowered by our interference with it, but it will destroy itself.
Hatred will always be stronger than love because of its advantage of working downhill. In contrast, love is an uphill process that has to be worked at as it has to put the pieces back together again. Evil replaces broken parts thoughtlessly with newer copies; meanwhile, the Truth redeems by repairing all the wounds in a broken heart.
A true movement of the people is not something born out of nothing. Eventful change for the sake of change is no better than no change whatsoever. A real movement connects with the past all the way back to its origins where ethics came out of the most worthless. Again, the manufacturing of consent will always be mysterious while justifying itself as eventful change for the sake of change. It becomes a drunkard intoxicated on the powers of manipulation. It always claims to work in the best interest of the people. In contrast, the Truth is always quite clear. Any attempt to stumble up the children of God hindering them in their quest to expand exponentially their Civil-Purpose will be judged as contempt.
As you should now know better, consider yourselves held to a greater penalty and a higher reward under judgment of the Truth.
