Preface
Uncle Emanuel Watkins is a metaphoric dog under the table. I created his character as a work of fiction to be utilized in political science much the same way businessmen refer to hypothetical 'gadgets' and 'widgets' when speaking about business models and methods. Indeed, he is an ideal position of authority who I created of, by, and for the people. The title of 'Fd.' at the beginning of Uncle Emanuel’s name denotes 'Founder.' While a Founder can be anyone, he or she may not be a legal attorney or anyone having anything to do with law. He or she will have earned their honorific titles by the writing of many ’simple writs.’Like the classic essay, a simple writ is a style of writing. In contrast to the more official essay which divides its potential reading audience into many classifications and dichotomies, a simple writ includes the whole world as its reading audience and then shrinks them the whole world shrunk down to within the being of a lone wretch. If deciding that you too would want to walk down this path, here are the few rules to follow. First, write your simple writs outside while experiencing the most extremes of elements both during the hottest of days and coldest of nights. As the wretch will be suffering from these same harsh conditions, limit the contents of your writing to one side of a single page. As she won't become distracted by having to turn the simple writ over to read the other side, the letter is tuned to her condition. Don't reference any of your information as she won't have the means to validate it. While the king will have lots of leisure time for personal enrichment, in stark contrast, the wretch will be quite desperate. Next, never condescend to her. And, finally, remember, as she is only a metaphor, you don't ever have to give the message to the wretch.
The following is an example of a simple writ:
Reading towards the end of the Gospel of Mark, I had to marvel. As revealed in this gospel, the wretched little sisters responsible for burying the body of Christ after His crucifixion were already functioning together as the church even to the extent that it was said they were already speaking with angels. So, being a typical man, I had to ask myself the question of why anyone in their right mind would venture out to gather up a lost flock of disciples to have them placed as an authority over their own heads? When considering the actions of these sisters, don't get religious. One makes a good argument claiming that they were so broken to the extent that they were able and willing to follow after the Holy Spirit.
Actually, I believe these sisters were able to go against their own nature out of concern for the head of the disciple John. See, the disciple John was born mentally ill which is why he had to keep his head in direct and constant contact with Christ. After Christ's crucifixion, he began to fall ill again. So, in order to care for him, the sisters realized John needed to keep his head in direct contact with the Holy Spirit. To usher in the Holy Spirit, the sisters built up the church which required establishing an authority:
John: 26-27
26 When Jesus saw his mother (the Wretch) there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman (nameless and faceless), here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
These little sisters of the early church were like nameless and faceless insects to the fallen emperors and kings who ruled over them. Spiritually speaking, the lowest form of life on earth are the insects. The reason for this is their lacking of any face. As a creature’s face represents their authority, the insects will be shown the least amount of respect to the extent that they are killed on sight without any remorse. So, as the brilliant face of Christ would have the greatest of authority, the insects would have the very least. Only after establishing this proper perspective can we then take the very least among the very least of all the worthless insects and utilize them in order to glorify the greatest who created them. I'm speaking here about the little ants and Christ.
Like the wretches themselves, these ants are always in a desperate battle for survival. They are our little sisters as they are fighting the same battle along with us to remain on this earth as living organisms with free wills. However, these ants are in a much more desperate situation as they can't devolve to be much smaller than they already are without risking becoming a symbiotic part of a larger living organism.
So, for the time being, the ant has resorted to storing away the males of her species. Indeed, not being able to even feed themselves, the drone male ants are as helpless as babes. To get matters under control, it is an ant colony of females that are functioning in their society as they are the ones who do all the working, the managing, and the fighting. Indeed, the males aren't needed for the colonies survival, but for its future potential to one day grow and thrive into living beings with free wills. Then again, my interpretation of that particular passage of the Gospel of Mark might be one hundred and eighty degrees off the mark.
So, the little sisters in the Gospel of Mark went out of their way to gather an authority over their own heads, but not for the reason of behaving more responsible and equal. No, the reason they went out of their way to establish an authority was out of concern for the well-being of another -- out of concern for their contentment.
